Volcanic Bikes patrol bicycles seen outside Newark, New Jersey’s Cathedral Basilica of the Sacred Heart at the 30th annual “Blue Mass.” The service honors New Jersey law enforcement personnel, including those who died in the line of duty. Presided over by Cardinal Joseph W. Tobin, the event saw participation from various law enforcement and fire officials, families of the deceased, and public figures. The Mass also paid respects to deceased Newark firefighters, concluding with a law enforcement-sponsored luncheon at the Branch Brook Park Roller Rink.
