Tired of paying high shop fees & waiting weeks for repairs?
Get trained and certified as a Volcanic Bikes mechanic! Our on-site training addresses the most common repairs needed by First Responders to independently get your fleet back up and riding.
We have several classes throughout the year and around the country. Sign up and learn skills to make yourself even more valuable to your colleagues and your department!
The 4-day course is based on the Park Tool Training Curriculum and includes additional information about the unique demands and uses of patrol bicycles. The 32-hour training is a hands-on maintenance and repair clinic taught by certified experts at your department or a designated location.
Attendees will be taught:
- The tools of the trade
- how patrol bikes work
- how to change a flats
- adjusting brakes and derailleurs
- completely overhauling your department’s bikes
- and more!
Clinic curriculum and materials originate from the BBB-4 Big Blue Book of Bicycle Repair, which acts as the outline for each clinic. Specific clinics, times and topics are determined by each presenting location and listed below.
